We're hiring top talent today for our 2 Free Standing Emergency Rooms. This is a Full position and the ER Nurse will float between our Temple Terrace and Plant City Free Standing Emergency Departments. 
 
A brand new free-standing Emergency Department will open in Jan 2018.  Our new ER is located in Temple Terrace on Fowler Ave, near USF.  As a department of Brandon Regional Hospital Emergency Service, the facility will provide treatment for all illnesses and injury and will have diagnostic imaging and lab services. Be part of this new and exciting expansion as we bring our high quality Emergency Care to Temple Terrace and the surrounding areas.  We also have another Free Standing Emergency Room located in Plant City.  This position will float to either one depending on the staffing needs.
 
As an Emergency Services RN, you impact patient care in every way imaginable – and then some. You’re responsible for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care. You handle health teaching and counseling, promote wellness, health maintenance and illness prevention. You even administer medications and treatment as prescribed. And you do it all with an energy that makes amazing patient care an everyday reality.
You’ll be right home in our Emergency Department.
Brandon utilizes complete computerized charting (Meditech) for patient assessment and care documentation, and eMAR to electronically record medication administration for the delivery of all medications provided to their patients. Computerized self-scheduling is available. Full-time is considered 36 hours per week, consisting of 3 x 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend.

 ','!*!Required Job Qualifications include:

Current licensure as an RN
Current BLS and ACLS certification required through the American Heart Association.  
Previous experience in Emergency Medicine strongly preferred. 
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.
