OverviewSTATEMENT OF POSTING:  Should there be no fully qualified candidates; may consider this position as Full Training.   POSITION SUMMARY:The RN Hospital; utilizes the nursing process and the standards of nursing care in the delivery of patient care;manages assigned personnel and promotes collaboration among the allied services. QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education:  Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.  BSN mandatory within 6 years of hire, if not currently held Experience:  *All experience noted must be as an RNACU: One year of hospital based experience in the past five years.ED: One year experience in an emergency department within the past five years.Medical/Surgical: Graduate Nurses are eligible. Must become licensed within 90 Days of employment.OB/Labor-Delivery/Nursery: One year experience in an OB department within the past five years. Surgical Services: One year experience in the OR within the past five years.PACU: One year PACU, ED or SCU experience or two years of hospital based experience within the past five years.SCU: One year hospital based experience in the last five years. Licensures/Certifications:Must be licensed as a REGISTERED NURSE in the State of Michigan, Current CPR Certification and Maintain Certification ACU:   Current ACLS certificationAssignment to Oncology must successfully complete Chemotherapy certification after 12 months experience administering chemotherapy and maintain certification thereafter ED:     Current ACLS certificationMust successfully complete PALS within 1 year of hire or transfer and maintain certification thereafter.
